A fun idea to add some color to your cake, especially if it is a simple wedding cake is to add fruit. You can put it in between the layers,a supporting layer on the bottom or mix cut pieces(ex: lemons and limes) with your flowers on the different layers.
My favorites:
-apples (red or green)
-oranges
-lemons
-limes
-strawberries
You could keep the theme of fruit going with accenting it in your table center pieces :) xoxo
Love this idea! If I have a wedding cake on my special day, I think I'll do fruit. What about grapes and grass on a cake? Think you could picture that for me? I kinda like the idea.
